◆ Find a workout friend. Fitness with friends is always more enjoyable.
◆ Make a Commitment Plan to yourself, with no excuses. For example commit to 20 minutes of exercise four times a week. Or instead of spending those first five minutes of your day checking your emails or social media on your phone, try starting your day with movement. Five minutes of burpees, riding on a bike, or a quick run around the block might be the jump start you need.
◆ Take a look at your eating habits and make small changes every week. Avoid bread, sugar and processed foods.
◆ Commit to doing at least the strength training sessions a week. Strength training improves your bone density, decreasing your risk of osteoporosis, increases your body’s longevity and makes you feel awesome!
◆ Get some motivational or positive quotes, then put them around your house. You are worth it.
