QT Magazine - - WELCOME - DARREN HALLESY darren.hallesy@qt.com.au

Welcome to QT Magazine issue 10. Can you believe it is March already? Why is it that the first couple of months after Christmas seem to fly by as we concentrate on back to school and paying the bills? In this issue I’ve caught up with some fascinating people such as Douglas Webster who is bringing his Broadway Masters for the first time to Australia, right here in Ipswich. Also coming to SEQ this month is comedian Frank Woodley, and we caught up with him about his new show. There’s something going on in Mt Marrow, near Walloon, as one teacher has 40% of her class made up of twins. Read about it on page 3. Also in this issue we meet Jill from The Coffee Club who is the first in the new Baristas of Ipswich series. Each month I’ll talk with a local Barista, who in my opinion are the unsung heroes of our city. Ipswich simply couldn’t function without caffeine, let’s be honest. Also, this issue we meet Charisse, a local mum who is going to share her views about parenting, see her first column on page 8. As always, my email is below, so feel free to tell me what you think, and don’t forget to get in the draw for our great book giveaway. Hope you enjoy this issue. Darren
