Kooroomba Vine­yards & Laven­dar Farm

WITH in­cred­i­ble views of the Scenic Rim, Kooroomba gives a feel­ing of the South of France and is a great day out. Con­sist­ing of a restau­rant, shop and cel­lar door, this six hectare vine­yard and laven­der field is get­ting a good rep­u­ta­tion amongst food­ies in the re­gion.

Iron­bark Ridge Vine­yard

AS pic­tured on the cover of this is­sue, Iron­bark Ridge Vine­yard has a cel­lar door open Tues­day to Sun­day from 10am to 5pm. Sit­u­ated at Purga, south west of Ip­swich, Iron­bark Ridge fea­tures great views and has been trad­ing since the mid 1980’s. All the vines were planted by hand and fea­tures a rich his­tory.

Flin­ders Peak Win­ery

YOU need to make an ap­point­ment for this one, open Fri­day to Sun­days only. All the fruit is grown, the wine is made and even bot­tled by hand on the site. With 20 on-site two bed­room villa, its also a great place to stay for a ro­man­tic wine-filled get­away.

Bar­ney Creek Vine­yard

WITH over 1000 vines planted on 1.5 acres, the panoramic view of this spot is amaz­ing. Pro­duc­ing over 2000 bot­tles a year, you’ll find dry reds, rose and sparkling wines, along with a tast­ing room.
