This time Alvin, Simon and Theodore, through a string of misunderstandings, believe their “dad” Dave has gone to New York to propose to his new girlfriend and dump them. With only three days to spare to stop the proposal, they pack their bags and embark on a road trip. Will they get there in time? Or will Dave propose and bring them back a terrible stepbrother?
