A NEW BREED OF BEAUTY DESIGNED TO BE SHARED (THAT IS, IF YOU CAN PART WITH IT)
Save space in your bathroom cabinet with unisex products you’ll be fighting over
JUST LIKE SHIRTS AND FRIES, we all know that fragrance is better when it has been stolen from your boyfriend/ husband/brother. And beauty companies are aware of this fact too, as they are busy amping up their unisex offerings to include a bunch of new products – so you won’t have to sneak around stealing his anymore. Here are a few of our faves. 1 Calvin Klein CK One eau de toilette, $69 for 100ml (1800 812 663). The trailblazer for unisex, the original CK One is a classic, with its fresh, slightly citrusy scent that smells distinctly like the 1990s. 2 R+Co Motorcycle Flexible Gel, $41 (1300 725 122). Yep, gel is back, but it doesn’t bring the old crunchy texture with it. It’s got all the hold of a gel, but with the flexibility of a wax. 3 Robert Pigeut L’Insomnuit, $299 for 100ml (Agencedeparfum.com.au). A sexy combination of woody smells with hints of flowers and resins. 4 Verso Lip Serum, $94 (Mecca.com.au). This gem is an anti-ageing king, with retinol to increase collagen production and hyaluronic acid for plumping the lips. 5 Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser, $30 (Kiehls.com.au). Kiehl’s iconic pH-balanced cleanser cleans away dirt and oil, without the tight stripping feeling. 6 Aesop Redemption Body Scrub, $39 (Aesop.com/au). The combo of essential oils and finely milled pumice and bamboo stems means you can exfoliate away all the dull, dead skin cells – and smell good doing it. 7 By Kilian Black Phantom, $531 for 50ml (Agencedeparfum.com.au). The French perfumer is the master of fragrance storytelling, and here he wanted to create the smell of a ghostly pirate ship. In case you were wondering, that smells like a heady blend of rum and coffee with hints of sandalwood.
BATTLE OF THE SEXES There’s no need for a dividing line in your bathroom cabinet with these unisex products.
