Mixed Cit­rus Punch

SERVES 6 (Makes 2 litres)

PREP 10 min­utes + 2 hours to freeze COOK 5 min­utes COST $2 a serve

1 ruby red grape­fruit, scrubbed, sliced 2 lemons, scrubbed, sliced

2 limes, scrubbed, sliced

1 cup caster su­gar

1 cup wa­ter

1 cup ice cubes

3 cups soda wa­ter, chilled

3 cups ruby red grape­fruit juice, chilled ½ cup lemon juice, chilled

1 Line an oven large tray with bak­ing pa­per. Place grape­fruit, lemon and lime slices on pre­pared tray; freeze for 2 hours. 2 Whisk su­gar and the wa­ter in a small saucepan over low heat; cook and stir for 3 min­utes or un­til su­gar dis­solves.. 3

Place the ice in a large glass serving bowl or jug. Add the frozen cit­rus slices, soda wa­ter and juices; stir to com­bine.
