Get ready for a slice of Thin Lizzy
It is commonly-viewed as one of the finest live albums of all-time, so it is fitting to see that Brian Downey is heading back out onto the road this autumn to mark the 40th anniversary of Thin Lizzy’s album Live And Dangerous. Drummer Downey will take to the road for the jaunt with the suitably named, Brian Downey’s Alive And Dangerous project.
“We will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Live And Dangerous by performing the album in its entirety when we tour it in the UK in September and October,” he explained. “Thin Lizzy fans have been asking us when we will embark on a UK tour. The time has finally arrived.”
The tour starts at the Queen Vic in South Shields on 25 September, before heading on to Eleven in Stone (27 September), London’s Camden Underworld (28 September), The Robin 2 in Wolverhampton (29 September) and the Classic Grand in Glasgow (1 October).
