EVERYONE had a “Cowabunga”’ good time when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made an appearance at Riverstone Library & Digital Hub’s family fun day on Wednesday.

There was dancing, face painting, craft activities and special Easter baskets of goodies for visitors.

And avid readers young and old were invited to sit down with a book and share some reading time together.

The family fun day was part of a series of events organised by Blacktown Council to celebrate the 50th anniversary of city libraries.

Riverstone is one of five branch libraries, with the others at Stanhope Gardens, Blacktown, Lalor Park and Mt Druitt.
