Butcher ready to carve for Roosters

Rugby League Week - - News -

Young gun Nat Butcher is still recovering from a shoulder reconstruction at the end of last season, but he’s very much in coach Trent Robinson’s plans. The former Rabbitoh made a fine NRL debut against the Broncos in round 26 last year and is highly rated by the Roosters — and Souths officials are still fuming, knowing they’ve lost one of their best local products in years to their arch-rivals. “He’s making a good recovery and should be right for round one,” Butcher’s manager Steve Deacon says.
