RLW prediction: Runners- up
2016 finish: Runners-up Coach Adam Mogg: “My expectation this year is that we play in the grand final and make it to Sydney and play in the state championships. I think we’ve got a stronger squad across both grades. Matthew Lodge has NRL written all over him and with some footy under his belt he’ll be really good for us. And I am really excited about the young kids we’ve got in the squad who will be pushing for spots in the top side.”
Player to watch: “Thompson Teteh is a tough, raw centre who hits the line with impact and can also play ad-lib footy. We’ve had a few visa problems so he hasn’t had a full pre-season but as the year goes on he’ll be someone the team really enjoys playing with. I’m really excited about him.”
KEY GAINS: Matthew Lodge (Wests Tigers) Nick Slyney (London Broncos), Thompson Teteh (PNG Hunters), Nathan Watts (Titans)
KEY LOSSES: Anthony Cherrington (Rabbitohs), Darren Nicholls (Panthers), Charlie Faingaa (Blacktown)
EXCITEMENT MACHINE At 177cm and 95kg, look for Thompson Teteh to punch holes in defences.
