RLW prediction: Third
2016 finish: Finals week two Coach Kristian Woolf: “We only sign 25 players and we don’t have a reserve grade as such. We have turned over half our squad, which presents challenges. But it is also exciting because it brings a real freshness, new characters and new skillsets. We’ll be a very different team to last year, but our core group who have been there for a few years set the tone for what our team is about.” Player to watch: “Jordan Kenworthy has the toughness and the work ethic with really good football ability on top of it. He is just out of Cowboys 20s and back after a season-ending injury, but once he gets going I think he will have a real impact at this level at lock.”
KEY GAINS: Sione Lousi (Warriors), Blake Leary (Sea Eagles), Kierran Moseley (Titans), Carlin Anderson (Broncos), Jordan Kenworthy (Cowboys), Lee Jewitt (Castleford)
KEY LOSSES: Moses Pangai (Broncos), Glenn Hall (retired), Matt Bowen (retired), Rhyse Martin (Bulldogs), Brenden Santi (Roosters), Delouise Hoeter (Norths Devils)
SWOOPING BLACKHAWK With six tries in 13 games for the Cowboys’ NYC side last year, Jordan Kenworthy can be a force in attack.
