Chasing moonbows and aurorae
Photographer Audun Rikardsen has come to shoot the perfect whale photo on the Kald Fiord of Northern Norway, but his “catch” is bigger than expected. The number of whales in the fiord has risen in recent years, as the giants have travelled north along with herrings. Close to the boat, the photographer spots a humpback whale entangled in a line. He calls the coast guard, and a diver is sent to free the huge animal. The whale's life is saved, but the yellow line turns out to be a data cable, disconnecting a nearby village for three weeks.
