Acid Saves Bees from Mites

In 2016, a group of scientists got promising results, as they tried to find out, whether oxalic acid could save bees from the Varroa mite. High doses of the acid were harmful to the bees, whereas the right quantity could kill the mites without harming the bees. A colony can be saved if sprayed with the acid.
