Which suburb do you call home? Burleigh Heads What makes that suburb the best on the GC? Stunning beaches, walks through the sensational national park and a great variety of wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. Fave Gold Coast casual dining location? What’s on the menu? Lunch at Rick Shores - the view is second to none. Bug roll, sashimi, dumplings and a glass of rose. You’re planning a fun, local night out with your mates? Which three locations top your list and why? A sunset drink at the Justin Lane rooftop bar, then downstairs and up the road for a delicious dinner at Jimmy Wahs and if I were to kick on, Cambus Wallace is my kind of bar. Best local spot for family hangs and why? If the surf’s just right, Burleigh Beach - you’ll find me under the beach umbrella and the kids and hubby catching waves. If the surf’s too big or too small, a walk through the national park to stunning Talle Creek - Burleigh has best of both worlds! Fave Gold Coast shopping destination? Food shopping is my favourite kind of shopping - I love my Saturday morning weekly shop at Palm Beach Market. It sets me up for an organised, healthy and delicious week ahead. Complete this sentence: Only a Gold Coast local knows... That we’ve got it all - bountiful fresh produce, sensational beaches, a stunning hinterland and sparkling winter days!
