ON­SET OF SYMP­TOMS

1. Around 15 min­utes fol­low­ing the fi­nal dive, the diver be­came light­headed, with spin­ning vi­sion, nausea, and an un­sta­ble gait. He vom­ited soon af­ter but re­ported no other pains or aches.

2. He was im­me­di­ately pro­vided with oxy­gen (O2) at the dive site and con­tin­ued breath­ing O2 at the dive cen­tre while wait­ing for paramedics to trans­port him to the lo­cal clinic for as­sess­ment.

3. DAN was called and the team com­menced look­ing at evac­u­a­tion op­tions to get the diver to higher level care.
