Avenel won round six

First game of the round six was POW Rebels against Avenel.

Avenel took the win with 9-2 the end result.

Rebels’ Colleen Holley threw 140, Tricia Stuart 109 and 100, Helen Roscoe 127 and 108.

Avenel’s Adam Lynch threw 180, 120, 116, and nine tons; Shannon Jackson 120 and 100; Rick Wylie 140, 125 and 100; and Liz Henzell 120, 100 and a peg of 90.

Broadford Mustangs hosted against Golf Club Aces, winning 7-4.

Mustangs’ Peter Myles threw 140, five tons and a peg of 85; Michael Hilder 180, 131 and three tons; Bruce Cunningham 180; Emily Wills 121, 120 and four tons.

Aces’ Adrian Blacker threw 100, Rob Ridgewell 140 and 100, Dan Raynor 105 and three tons and Mark Jones four tons.

The Royal Rascals hosted Railway Renegades this week.

It was a close game, coming down to a score of 6-5 in Royal’s favour.

Rascals’ highlights saw John Crockett throw 140, 129, 128, 120 and two tons; Brendan Rogers 133, 100 and a 76 peg; Stuart Crockett 119 and two tons; and Allan Solomon 115.

Renegades’ John Porter threw 116 and 100, Graeme Hogg two tons, Dan Kilroy 103 and Rick Kozlowski 140 and 100.

The last game was played at the POW between Misfits and Avengers.

Misfits were just too strong on the night and won 7-4.

Highlights on Avengers side included Brett Veal throwing 120 and 100; Jarrod Duggin 134, 121 and two tons; Terran Crispin 120 and 100; and Jason Hall 100.

Misfits’ Noel Whitling threw 167, 121, 101 and three tons; Brian Forge three tons; and Geoff Maggs 126 and 100.
