Your well-being matters

-

Mitchell Shire Council is conducting a community wellbeing survey and wants to hear from residents about their priorities in the community they live in.

The survey includes questions about how safe you feel in your community, how connected you feel to your community, what services council could provide more of, what issues are facing your town, and its appearance.

Responses will help shape the direction of the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan and Council Plan, as well as other plans and strategies.

Council said feedback was important to help the new council understand the community’s aspirations for Mitchell Shire over the next four years.

Mayor Rhonda Sanderson encouraged everyone to have their say and complete the survey.

‘‘Your responses will provide insights towards actions that can improve health and wellbeing in our community,’’ Cr Sanderson said.

The survey is open to all Mitchell Shire residents until March 31 and should take no longer than five minutes to complete.

Those who complete the survey can go into a draw to win fortnightly prizes. To take the survey, visit

or phone council on 5734 6200 to receive a hard copy.
