Time right for trip to Bright

The Bright trip is on May 6. Cost is $40.

Pick-up times and places will be an­nounced next week.

A lunch will be held on June 19, with a guest speaker from the RACV.

Christ­mas in July is on July 13 at the Lin­den Tree Cafe, Avenel.

Cost is $20 for a twocourse meal, so book now to ensure a place. There are just a few places left.

Bookings and pay­ment are re­quired by June 30.

War­rnam­bool, here we come on Septem­ber 1 to 3. Cost is $495.

The out­ing to Shep­par­ton for ten-pin bowl­ing was a great suc­cess, with 12 se­niors play­ing for the first time.

All en­joyed the ex­pe­ri­ence and are look­ing for a re­turn trip very soon.

The next gen­eral meet­ing is on Mon­day at 2 pm.

Mem­bers are re­minded that the mem­bers draw has jack­pot­ted to $75, but you must be in at­ten­dance to claim the prize should your num­ber be drawn.

The 50th an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tions are com­ing up on May 15, start­ing at 1 pm.

As this is a catered event it is im­por­tant that names be sub­mit­ted to Betty on 5792 3712 as soon as pos­si­ble. This is a free event, with entertainment sup­plied by Brendan Scott.

Terry Glen proved a card shark last week, winning 500 and Eu­chre.

There were sev­eral close games at Fri­day bowls, with the out­right win go­ing to the women’s team of Mar­garet Rid­ing­ton, Olga Div­i­taris and Flo McIn­er­ney.

Tr­ish Wray is now tak­ing names for the next trip to Ballarat in June or­gan­ised by the Broad­ford Se­niors.

Sey­mour has or­gan­ised the July trip to Gee­long. More de­tails later.
