The wel­come rain on Fri­day meant there was no six-hole so­cial com­pe­ti­tion in the evening and it changed the play­ing con­di­tions for Satur­day’s par com­pe­ti­tion as well.

The best score of the day in the men’s com­pe­ti­tion was in A-grade with Dave Pearce (6) winning with +2 on a count­back from Greg Pell.

B-grade win­ner was Gerry Ben­der (20) with +1.

Dan O’Sullivan was the near­est to the pin on the fourth, Chris Martin won both the sixth and the 12th near­est the pins and the 17th went to Ger­ard O’Sullivan.

The women’s Satur­day win­ner was Sharon Cress­well (20) with -2.

The ex­tra com­pe­ti­tion of the best sec­ond shot on the sixth also went to Cress­well.

The balls went to Cress­well and Dale Stu­art with -4.

Fi­nally, round three of the men’s pen­nant was played on Sun­day.

The di­vi­sion two scratch team had a re­sound­ing 7-0 win over Hid­den Val­ley when they met at Broad­ford.

The re­stricted hand­i­cap team played at home and had a 6-1 win over Lance­field.

The di­vi­sion two hand­i­cap team had the dif­fi­cult task of tak­ing on Wood­end and suf­fered a 2-5 loss.

The so­cial six holes this Fri­day are 1-6, and the game is sta­ble­ford.

Satur­day is also a sta­ble­ford event for both men and the women.
