Brian Inness made the most of his 22-minute handicap in Saturday’s Seymour-Broadford Cycling Club’s race.

Riding solo from Seymour to Locksley and back, Inness never looked like getting caught as he crossed the line more than four minutes ahead of his nearest rival.

Making it an Inness quinella, Adam Inness (4 min) led the field home for second with a fastfinishing Darryl O’Keefe (scr) third and with fastest time of 1:20:45 for the 54 km journey.

Glenn Jacobs (scr) was next with Jeff Hibberd (4 min) in fifth.

This Saturday’s race starts from Glenaroua Fire Station at 2 pm.
