Seymour Telegraph - - NEWS -

Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn members (from left) Dilio and Pam Schivo, Bronwyn Allan and Liz Johnson joined Lions from across Victoria at Government House to celebrate and recognise 100 years of Lions worldwide.

Victorian Governor Linda Dessau AC addressed hundreds of Lions with a heartfelt thank you and recognition for the work that Lions do.

This was followed by light refreshments and a wander through the state rooms.

Lions was founded by Melvin Jones in Chicago, Illinois, in 1917.

His idea was to put the talents of his fellow businessmen to work on improving their communities.

The Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn thrive to follow his ideals to help the community.
