Email scam

by THE TELEGRAPH office last week to inform us of a new email scam doing the rounds.

The gentleman said he had received an email asking him to update his details with the Commonwealth Bank.

The only problem was, he doesn’t have any accounts with Commonwealth Bank — a dead giveaway that the email was a hoax.

He notified the bank and local police and wanted other residents to be wary of the scam.
