Open au­di­tions for Dizzy Pro­duc­tions’ lat­est of­fer­ing will be held on Sun­day.

Au­di­tions will start at noon at Goul­burn Park, Sey­mour, and as­pir­ing ac­tors and ac­tresses should take along a pen and note­book.

Death By Mis­ad­ven­ture is a ca­sual, care­free char­ac­ter who is a lit­tle bit reck­less and doesn’t ap­pear quite as clever as the rest.

Death By Sui­cide is a sen­su­ous and se­duc­tive char­ac­ter who uses sex­u­al­ity to try and tempt an un­sus­pect­ing vic­tim.

Death By Homi­cide is a coolly evil type of char­ac­ter who has no time for any of his com­pan­ions and doesn’t at­tempt to per­suade his vic­tim.

Death By Dis­ease is a slick and per­sua­sive char­ac­ter who would be more at home sell­ing used cars or dodgy real es­tate.

Fi­nally, John is a male in his 40s con­fronted by the spec­tra of death.

Ra­dio sta­tion open day

Sey­mour FM 103.9 will hold an open day to­mor­row, from 10 am un­til noon, as part of Se­niors Month cel­e­bra­tions.

The event will be held at the sta­tion’s head­quar­ters at 22 Les­ley St, op­po­site the Sey­mour Memo­rial Out­door Pool.

The open day will in­clude the launch of new pro­gram Mu­sic as Com­pany, where Alan Ed­wards talks with peo­ple who can’t get out and about much, and dis­cusses the mu­sic they like as com­pany.

Head along to the open day and have a tour of the ra­dio stu­dio. You can also meet some some of Mitchell Shire’s pos­i­tive age­ing am­bas­sadors for the AgeFriendly Com­mu­ni­ties pro­ject.

A Frac­tured Life au­thor Julie Me­tax­o­tos will also be there to talk about her story and au­to­graph copies of the book.

There’ll also be a morn­ing tea pro­vided by the CWA ladies.
