Radio station open day
Seymour FM 103.9 will hold an open day tomorrow, from 10 am until noon, as part of Seniors Month celebrations.
The event will be held at the station’s headquarters at 22 Lesley St, opposite the Seymour Memorial Outdoor Pool.
The open day will include the launch of new program Music as Company, where Alan Edwards talks with people who can’t get out and about much, and discusses the music they like as company.
Head along to the open day and have a tour of the radio studio. You can also meet some some of Mitchell Shire’s positive ageing ambassadors for the AgeFriendly Communities project.
A Fractured Life author Julie Metaxotos will also be there to talk about her story and autograph copies of the book.
There’ll also be a morning tea provided by the CWA ladies.
Entry is free, and bookings are not required.
