The Sey­mour Per­form­ers Work­shop’s lat­est pro­duc­tion is Chicago.

The pro­duc­tion is the long­est-run­ning Amer­i­can mu­si­cal in Broad­way his­tory, win­ner of six 1997 Tony Awards, and an Academy Award-win­ning film.

Chicago will be per­formed at the Sey­mour Com­mu­nity Arts Cen­tre on Novem­ber 4 (8 pm), Novem­ber 5 (2 pm), Novem­ber 10 (8 pm), Novem­ber 11 (8 pm) and Novem­ber 12 (2 pm).

Show direc­tor Geral­dine O’Brien said there was an im­pres­sive cast of tal­ented per­form­ers in the pro­duc­tion.

‘‘The singing and danc­ing is go­ing to blow peo­ple away and the sets, cos­tumes and light­ing are amaz­ing,’’ she said.
