Ju­niors take aim

Sey­mour Field and Game held its monthly shoot on Satur­day — a 75-tar­get off the gun shoot.

This month’s spe­cial event was the Scott Kan­ters Memo­rial, for the high­est scor­ing ju­nior or sub-ju­nior (in­clud­ing their hand­i­cap) on the day.

Scott Kan­ters was a keen shooter from a lo­cal fam­ily who passed away much too soon.

The win­ner of the Scott Kan­ters tro­phy was Dou­glas Hooper with the best score for ju­niors on the day.

Over­all high gun win­ner was Mathew Wile­smith with 70/75.

AA-grade: Jeremy Caverzan 65, Bruce Wile­smith 65, Tony Con­nell 64.

A-grade: Geremy Thomas 65, Andy Smith 62, Ge­off Black 59.

B-grade: Jeremy Joyce 58, Peter Mur­phy 57, Ross Poxon 56.

C-grade: Daniel McPher­son 46, David Rees 44, Paul Minogue 43.

Women: Jess Parkin­son 51, Vicki Nor­ris 48, Claire Bourke 45.

Vet­er­ans: Ron Purss 61, Neil Mcin­tosh 57, Don Lo­mas 57.

Ju­niors: Doug Hooper 53, Noah Mc­gau­ran 44, Zayde Ma­cleod 42.

Sub-ju­niors: Tris­tan Mur­phy 39.

Sey­mour Field and Game is hold­ing their last event for the year on De­cem­ber 1, and this will be a two-per­son team shoot.

This event is great fun for ev­ery­one with some great prizes on of­fer fol­lowed by a bar­be­cue din­ner for all.

With a 10.30 am start, this event will be a great way to fin­ish the year. All wel­come.
