mad man

SFX: The Sci-Fi and Fantasy Magazine - - Mad Max -

Hacksaw advice ( Mad Max)

Handcuffing a gang member to a rigged vehicle, Max leaves him a hacksaw and some useful advice: “Now, if you’re lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes.”

Toecutter demise ( Mad Max)

Max speed chasing the biker leader until he’s involved in a head- on collision with a semi- trailer results in a literally eye- popping moment! The first movie at its maddest.

Opening chase ( Mad Max 2)

With pedal to the metal, Rockatansky takes the time to remind us just how invincible he is in his souped- up V8 Interceptor as he outruns and ultimately defeats his fearsome pursuers.

Tanker pursuit ( Mad Max 2)

“I’m the best chance you’ve got!” – a wounded Max offers to drive the petrol truck that draws a relentless pursuit by the fearsome Humungus gang. One of many screechy highlights of the sequel.

Master Blaster match

( Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome)

We’ve seen little of Max’s compassionate side so it’s a shock when he has a change of heart and refuses to “finish” Blaster in the notorious Thunderdome.
