Reversing The Trend: While most other shows are abandoning opening title sequences for a five- second jingle, season two of The 100 has suddenly gained a proper opening title sequence, and very impressive it is too, even if it does contain that big sci- fi cliché – a ruined Statue of Liberty.

Reversing The Trend 2: Raven was originally going to be killed off in season one but instead managed to be one of the few characters in the show to avoid death and was promoted to a regular.

Fooling No One: There are a lot of British actors doing very good American accents in US TV. Henry Ian Cusick isn’t one of them. He sounds like he’s doing a bad Dustin Hoffman impression.

Best Lines: Clarke: “He did it for me.” Lexa: “Then he dies for you.”
