Unbreakable ( 2000)

SFX: The Sci-Fi and Fantasy Magazine - - 20 greatest films -

Cannily forging a compelling comic- book movie long before Marvel launched its cinematic universe ( though the same year the similarly prescient first X- Men was released), M Night Shyamalan proved he was ahead of the curve with his follow- up to The Sixth Sense. Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson are perfectly cast as total opposites – one an indestructible lunk, the other a frail genius – and the film itself is a dark, thrilling fable, and the last time Shyamalan was truly great.

Spidey only wanted a short back and sides. “And this one’s in Near Mint condition!” They’re happy because they eat lard.
