Dino Time

SFX: The Sci-Fi and Fantasy Magazine - - Dvd & blu- ray -

Release Date: 1 June

2012 | PG | DVD In this Korean- made animated movie ( also receiving a limited theatrical release), a boy and his best friend accidentally activate an egg- shaped time machine and are sent back to prehistoric times. There, they’re adopted by a T- Rex voiced by Melanie Griffith, who thinks she’s “hatched” the egg. Can they get back home again? Rob Schneider is well cast as a hyperactive young T- Rex, the visual style is quite cute, mums and dads should approve of the worthy messages about the importance of family, and younger kids who are dinosaur crazy should find plenty to enjoy – especially the scraps between the dinos. Inoffensive then – but not exactly Pixar standard.
