TWISTED TALES

2014 | 15 | DVD This anthology horror started off as a nine- part web series for defunct cable network FEARnet, which explains why it has such an arduous running time ( 142 minutes). Maybe two of the unrelated segments are vaguely entertaining: “Cached” in which a thief soon regrets stealing a tablet that turns out to be haunted, and “BOOM” in which, consumed by jealousy, a military explosives expert builds a bomb to get back at his wife. As a whole, the anthology is plagued by poor production values, bad dialogue and uneven performances. Masters Of Horror did this sort of thing a lot better a few years back.
