They’re ask­ing for it with that ti­tle. As it hap­pens, this isn’t di­a­bol­i­cal. It’s no mas­ter­piece, but there’s two- thirds of a solid low­bud­get hor­ror here about a fam­ily ( in­clud­ing He­roes’ Ali Larter) trou­bled by supernatural vis­i­ta­tions.

The first hour rat­tles along nicely. There are mul­ti­ple vis­i­ta­tions in the first 10 min­utes alone, which de­tracts from the ten­sion, but is at least fun. How­ever, a fi­nal third switch of genre is ill- ad­vised and leads to an in­co­her­ent con­clu­sion.
