Some of the recipe pics look bril­liant. Our favourites: Ood Head Bread, Slitheen Cui­sine (potato based), Pizza Cas­san­dra and Zy­gon Pie.

But some may not taste so good. Blue­ber­ries with hard-boiled eggs for Atraxi Snax, anyone?!

See if you can bake a bet­ter souf­flé than the Im­pos­si­ble Girl – there’s a recipe for that too.

A “Hello, Sweet­ies” sec­tion fea­tures a se­lec­tion of dessert de­lights, such as Adi­pose Pavlova and jelly ba­bies.

Def­i­nitely bet­ter than the 1985 book of the same name, fea­tur­ing Cas­troval­van Ke­babs and Chan­cel­lor Flavia’s Chicken Favourite.
