WORST MO­MENT

The first episode sees a farmer lure two horses with an ap­ple so they run over him with their plough. It’s sup­posed to be dra­matic but you’re just left scratch­ing your head at how silly it is.

the fu­ture?

The fi­nale seems strangely open-ended. Will there be a se­ries two? “I’ve got un­fin­ished busi­ness with these two, I think,” says Ash­ley Pharoah of the show’s cen­tral couple.

did you spot?

The red coat worn by the ghost from the fu­ture re­sem­bles the lit­tle girl’s coat in Don’t Look Now – as does Nathan’s son drown­ing.
