QUEENS OF THE DESERT

The first official cast pic from Star Trek: Discovery has made it past Federation security. The image features Captain Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) and First Officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) on the surface of an as-yet unknown desert planet. No glimpse of the new-look blue Starfleet uniforms from the trailer here, but there’s a real Star Wars vibe to it all. Either that or they’re riffing off Star Trek V… The show beams on to Netflix in the UK this autumn.
