PETER PAN, 1974
Power Records reenacted all but one of the Apes film series as radio plays for children (Conquest was judged too violent). These imaginative releases included a comic, so children could follow along and visualise the action in the pre-VCR days. Later releases included albums featuring the adventures of the TV cast. Power Records can likely be credited for spreading the Apes lore to children as much as the movies themselves.
