THE 100 CLUB

Great of you to acknowledge The 100 as a watchable show on your View Screen pages. It’s one of my favourites at the moment. I like that the show has some great character development. The show portrays very realistically the effect that the struggle for survival has on the moral choices of the characters, and doesn’t shy away from killing main protagonists.

My only bugbear with The 100 is the scientific foundation. Everything that has to do with the effect of the radiation on Earth sounds really dodgy. When Clarke makes the comment that the Sky People are genetically engineered it seems as if the writers just put that in because they belatedly realised that they have to explain their radiation resistance!
