FROM TREK TO DREK

Rob Graham, email I’m loving Picard and Discovery but I’ve had enough of moaning fans moaning about everything. Star Trek by rights should be a dead franchise after Nemesis and Enterprise. We get Discovery, they say, “Oh no, it’s a prequel!” while at the same time wanting cheap fan film Axanar. They say, “We want a series set after Voyager and Nemesis!” so along comes Picard. They say, “It’s not an exact copy of The Next Generation! It’s not canon! Not my Jean-Luc!” The same thing happened throughout the ’90s with the announcement of each new series and they’ll do the same with every series to come.
