Workers die on job
Two farm workers have been killed on the job within 24 hours in regional Victoria.
A man aged in his 50s was killed when he was thrown from the cabin of a spreader truck when it rolled down a hill and crushed him south of Yea on Tuesday, last week.
Another man, aged in his 40s, died after falling from a stationary truck while loading manure at an egg farm near Geelong last Wednesday morning.
WorkSafe health and safety executive director Marnie Williams said both deaths were being investigated and farms needed to ensure safety was their top priority.
