-

The Cobram and District Equestrian Club held its first official Horse Riding Club Association of Victoria Horse Trials on September 17.

The event was held at the Muckatah Recreation Reserve and was organised by Barb Clarke.

Riders came from all over Victoria as well as southern NSW, with many of the competitors travelling to Cobram for the first time.

The dressage event progressed through the morning with the two showjumping rings swinging into action to add to the atmosphere, and cross country taking place in the afternoon.
