Gason delivers quality
For 70 years, Gason has been manufacturing quality machinery for Australian farmers and has built an enviable reputation for innovative design and superior build.
The new 9 tonne and 12.8 tonne spreaders from Gason will spread up to 36 m of granulised fertiliser, with new widespread spinner sets which are the result of years of research and development at Gason.
The system utilises a removable widespread centre V that provides increased flexibility when changing from different products such as lime, gypsum and urea.
With the option of load cells, farmers and contractors can more effectively measure how much product remains in the bin from the cab during operation.
The installation of rollover tarps, static calibration kits, hungry boards and heavy duty manure spinners are also optional.
‘‘Gason spreaders will spread a large variety of materials from urea to chicken litter, and do it with great accuracy,’’ a CLAAS Harvest Centre Echuca representative said.
‘‘Fewer moving parts reduce maintenance requirements to a minimum and heavy duty construction and a baked enamel paint finish assure a long service life.’’
High torque spinner motors — with speed read-out, threespeed gearbox, low profile, easy loading and slat-style chain feed — that give even distribution to spinners without slipping or creating blockages at the rear door, and spinner speed tachometer, are features that come as standard.
‘‘They are simple to operate and are highly efficient,’’ the CLAAS Harvest Centre Echuca representative said.
‘‘Manufactured from heavy gauge steel they will give you years of reliable service.
‘‘If you’re looking for a tough, dependable spreader for fertiliser or manure, a Gason spreader is the ideal machine.’’ ➤ For more information, phone CLAAS Harvest Centre Echuca on 5480 1855.
