Audi global sales up 8.3 per cent
Audi AG finished 2013 with an all-time record, selling around 1.5 million automobiles worldwide, 8.3 per cent more than in 2012. The premium manufacturer’s sales were up by more than 100 000 units for the fourth consecutive year.
Major growth drivers during the past year were Audi’s three biggest export markets, all of which reported double-digit growth: with China up 21.2 per cent, the United States up 13.5 per cent, and the United Kingdom up 14.9 per cent.

In Australia, 16 009 new vehicles were delivered to customers, up by 10.1 per cent, with the new (pictured) A3 Sportback and Q model range performing particularly well
