Duo does it again

-

The Shepparton team of Russell Jack-David Moran combined to win their second metropolitan class race in seven days when Tezz Khora saluted at Melton last Saturday night.

Fresh from their success with Indi Bapu at headquarters the previous week, trainer Jack and reinsman Moran struck with Tezz Khora.

Moran settled the five-year-old son of Kenneth J behind the pacesetter Masterofthurles and then sprinted to a narrow win in the home straight after getting clear of the marker pegs.

A 12 times winner previously, Tezz Khora turned in a career quickest run, rating a slick 1:55.5 for the 1720 m trip.

Tezz Khora’s previous win was seven starts ago when he saluted at Bendigo on April 6.

Apart from his now 13 wins, Tezz Khora has also racked up 15 minor placings in his 42 starts, so has more than paid his way for connections with his prizemoney now more than $86 000.
