Euroa thefts

Police executed a search warrant on a residential property in Euroa following a recent spate of thefts from motor vehicles in the town.

Police seized property believed to be stolen and discovered drugs and illegal weapons at the premises.

A Euroa man, 23, has been charged with multiple thefts and another Euroa man, 53, has been charged with drug and weapon offences.

‘‘In circumstances like this, we regularly recover stolen property from thefts that may not have originally been reported to us.

‘‘As such, police are encouraging all members of the public to let us know about thefts even if they seem minor,’’ Euroa police First Constable Dean Arrowsmith said.
