Di Petta in court for a second time
Prominent Shepparton businessman Steven Andrew Di Petta, 47, made his second appearance in court yesterday to face sexual assault charges.
Dressed in a suit, the accused said nothing during the brief court appearance at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court.
His lawyer made an application to cross-examine a witness, which the prosecution did not oppose.
The accused, who has not yet entered a plea, had his bail extended until his next court appearance on October 19.
Mr Di Petta, who lives in Grahamvale, was charged this year with a range of offences across a period of three years, including stalking, threatening a witness and sexual assault.
