Witnesses sought

Police are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault of an autistic male at the Woolworths car park in Archer St, Shepparton, this month.

The alleged assault happened between 6.15 pm and 6.30 pm on June 13.

Police said the offender, a man, is described as aged between 30 and 50, has short hair and was wearing a dark jacket.

The victim was punched in the face twice, causing a black eye.
