1. What do you enjoy most about Greater Shepparton?

For me, it is the people. It is a great honour to live in and be part of Greater Shepparton . . . the people are welcoming, supportive and generous.

2. What is your favourite thing to do in Greater Shepparton?

I enjoy serving the community, my friends . . . many people need a little support, someone to listen to them, respect them.

I get all my pleasure from being with my family and serving everyone in our community.

3. Why is Greater Shepparton a great place for young people to grow up?

We are so lucky to live here — opportunities are everywhere.

We are rich in agricultural produce and fresh food with clear air, giving us healthy lives. We moved to Shepparton 28 years ago for a better life, but we came without a job.

I cleaned windows and washed toilets, any job was a good job.

Because we worked hard, new opportunities came.

The people here have always supported us and now we enjoy giving back to our community.

Lucky to be here: Azem Elmaz from Lutfiyes Shish Kebabs & People Helping People is #ShepPROUD.
