Deniliquin v Moama

Shepparton News - - SPORT -

Deniliquin’s main aim for the rest of the season will be attempting to avoid the wooden spoon.

The Rams are a game behind Katandra on the ladder and will likely need at least two more victories for the season to lift off the bottom.

That quest starts today for Todd Gallagher’s troops against Moama.

Gallagher has snared 13 goals for the year to lead the way for the Rams.

The Magpies have been one of the more inconsistent teams in the competition this campaign, but are capable of a big win on the day.

Names like Rhys Archard, Tyler Jones and Luke Dunham resonate as some of the better players in the league, but the outfit has not been able to strut the catwalk in the one direction for much of the year.
