The dy­namic sounds of the Aus­tralian Cham­ber Or­ches­tra, led by Artis­tic Di­rec­tor, Richard Tognetti, will be wend­ing through the na­tion’s spir­i­tual heart when it makes its first ap­pear­ance at Ay­ers Rock Re­sort in Oc­to­ber 2015. An in­ti­mate se­ries of con­certs will fea­ture spe­cial guests, ARIA-win­ner Wil­liam Bar­ton on didgeri­doo and ARIA-nom­i­nee Steve Pi­gram, pro­vid­ing vo­cals and rhyth­mic gui­tar, in a pro­gramme blend­ing ev­ery­thing from Ra­dio­head’s ‘How to Dis­ap­pear Com­pletely’ to mas­ter of the Baroque, Rameau. The ACO Uluru Fes­ti­val com­prises three con­certs over two days, from Fri­day 30 to Satur­day 31 Oc­to­ber, with each per­for­mance com­ple­mented by an exclusive din­ing event, cul­mi­nat­ing in a cel­e­bra­tory gala din­ner on Satur­day night, at­tended by the mem­bers of the Or­ches­tra. www.ay­er­srock­re­
