andBeyond returns to Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls and its wildlife-rich surrounds are reclaiming their title as one of Africa’s most coveted safari locales, with visitors keen to spy a herd of elephants or a glimpse of the graceful, elusive sable antelope. For the first time since 2011, andBeyond has announced that it will be taking over the management of the Matetsi River Lodge and its 50,000 wildlife concession. As part of its transformation, the lodge and the accompanying andBeyond Matetsi River House will be given an extensive US$10 million makeover, ensuring guests enjoy the finest luxuries – from massage salas to private plunge pools – with 27 kilometres of private Zambezi River frontage. The new lodge will comprise two camps of nine suites, while the four-bedroom villa comes with a complement of staff. Following its reopening on 15 July, andBeyond Matetsi River Lodge will offer twice-daily game drives, guided bush walks, riverboat cruising and canoeing, each day ending with sundowners overlooking the Zambezi.
