Kate Eastwood

Just Pootling blogger Kate is an English designer with a big imagination. She told us: "My idea for bunting came from the idea of fresh sea breezes blowing washing on a line or sails on boats and I thought bunting was the perfect way to capture that feeling in some decorative crochet for the home. I used rustic rope to hang the bunting on, and some pieces of driftwood for the hanging loops as these reminded me of collecting 'treasure' as you walk along a beach." Tanya Eberhardt

Little Things Blogged crochet designer Tanya lives in Greece. She is a self-confessed yarn lover and for this month's designer challenge, she used the ve balls of Noro yarn to whip up a pretty hanging mandala hoop. When we asked her about the design, she told us: "What inspired the design were the lovely boho, earthy yarn colours which lled me with a summery wanderlust feeling!"
